It’s been a truly magical few months for fans of Enid Blyton, with exciting news spanning the big screen and the stage! The enchanting world of Blyton’s beloved *The Magic Faraway Tree* has sprung to life in a new film adaptation, which premiered in UK cinemas on March 27th and in Australia on March 26th. Starring a fantastic cast including Andrew Garfield and Claire Foy, this cinematic journey has already proven so popular that two sequels were officially announced on May 14th, with production slated to begin next year.

Adding to the excitement, the Emma Rice Company’s highly acclaimed musical adaptation of *Malory Towers* is making a welcome return to the stage at Alexandra Palace Theatre this Summer 2026.
