We're absolutely thrilled to share some fantastic news about the incredibly talented Jamie Smart! His beloved *Bunny vs Monkey: Intergalactic Monkey Business!* recently clinched the inaugural British Book Awards Book of the Year: Graphic Novel category. This is a truly monumental achievement, not only for Jamie but for the entire world of children's graphic novels, marking a wonderful recognition of their growing importance and appeal.
Fans will also be delighted to know that a brand new series, *Megalomaniacs: The Invasion Begins*, launched in March, bringing even more of Smart's signature humour and vibrant artwork to our shelves. And speaking of *Bunny vs Monkey*, the World Book Day title, *Total Chaos!*, soared to the top of the UK book charts earlier this year, proving just how much love there is for these hilarious characters.
Jamie has also been busy connecting with readers, including a special Authors Live event with the Scottish Book Trust, where he gave an exciting insight into the creation of his iconic characters. He also hosted a superfan event with Waterstones, much to the delight of his dedicated followers. It's clear that Jamie's unique ability to blend chaos with heartwarming stories continues to captivate young and old alike.
